You’ll take part in our Skills to Foster training programme. This engaging course covers everything from safeguarding, attachment and trauma to managing challenging behaviour and working with professional teams. You’ll gain the knowledge and confidence needed to start your fostering journey.
A thorough assessment is carried out by a qualified social worker. This includes personal references, background checks, medical reports, and detailed interviews. The assessment helps us build a full picture of your strengths, experience, and suitability to foster.
